Life has not been nice to us here in Oslo recently. I have nothing to add, it is just too sad.

To the people that had the questionable experience of joining me for a photo workshop last week, I can only say I’m sorry. I should have stayed at home.

I found some negatives from last year that I had not processed yet so here is a picture of some mushrooms.

Timelapses are the new awesome

I’m experimenting with timelapses at the moment. I’m planning to do more interesting stuff with this, but currently this is on the exploratory stage. Getting to know the technology and so on.

Anyway, here is one I did earlier:

I also tried to make one in portrait mode. This one is very short since I had to recover the camera before it got too wet (you can see the water hitting the lens on the last few frames).

It is always nice to meet other photographers and share some time taking pictures and interacting.
Yesterday I took at trip up Akerselva here in Oslo with a group of at least 30 others.

Even if we cover the same ground it is interesting to see our different approaches and not at least what we capture.

Letting the road paint with light

Sitting in a car for a long drive. I decided to let the road paint with the available light.

New couple out…

Vala and her boyfriend Ingvar was good enough to be my models today. This my start for the next round of competition in the Norwegian photo magazine “Fotografi”. Since I won the first round I feel obliged to try to enter the next one. The theme for this round is “Couple” or “Pair” (they are the same word in Norwegian “Par”).

So here are two I shot today in the botanical gardens. Many thanks to Vala and Ingvar!
